Instead of using the drop down menu you can,Press enter and, then tab to make it a character but,Thanks for the header set up,I was really confused.

Don’t know who came up with I/E, but out of the thousand scripts I have read I have never seen it used. Int. and Ext. are for camera placement, not where the actor is.And that is a lot of mouse movement, in Final Draft I can go 20 pages and never need to use a mousebut good instruction for beginners

You can use keys on Celtx as well. I’m just a mouse clicker. You can’t beat the price of Celtx. I can’t see the point of buying Final Draft as a beginning screenwriter. Celtx is perfect for someone getting started.

@nmsugrants I do agree, if Celtx had been around years ago I never would have spent 300 on Final Draft

You should be able to copy and paste from Word to Celtx. I’ve done that before. Or you could probably save it as a text file and open it right up in Celtx.

@ahabblogme a script can not be more than 120 pages
