if he can do it I can and better
I agree with most people here, plot of star wars, ideas of LotR. ruebs2 already explained the plot part, so I’ll do ideas.Elves almost exact same as lotr (forest, immortal)Dwarves almost exact same as lotr (axes, mountains)Compare the two maps (middle earth, algaesia). Small amount of sea in the west, rest mainly land.Urgals = orcs/uruk-hai.Eragon = AragornGalbatorix = sauronI could go on if i wasn’t fr the bloody word count
You’re actually right;D
yea except the old man turns out to be the boys father.
I liked the books…second one was a bit of a snoozer, though.I’m aware that it’s Star Wars with dragons, but The Hero’s Journey (TV Tropes ftw) is quite a common storyline and I don’t think that Paolini made it so similar to so many other things on purpose. The movie was alright AT BEST as a stand alone film, but if you compare it to the book it’s just…no.
yeah eldest was boring but the burning planes was epic
i agree thew movie was shit
omg i love the book i just shaved my ballsack
i agree with the tolkien part, not the cs lewis. eragon has A LOT in common with tolkiens works… but the lord of the rings is the foundation of an epic fantasy.
hahaha wow i never noticed that.
