Last night was the final Stargate Atlantis episode and we sat through, box of keelnex in hand, ready for the long goodbye.

You know that there’s something wrong with last night’s Clone Wars episode when the thing I spent most time thinking about while watching it was that Jar-Jar sounded different than usual. Another misfire awaits. The most frustrating thing about “The Gungan General” was that you could, if you squinted a bit and filled in a lot of gaps for yourself, see what they were trying to do with the episode – A lighter, more broad version of the traditional Star Wars rogue-and-rescue formula played for laughs.

I hadn’t realized how many quasi-revisionist works about the Nazis and the Holocaust had come out recently until I read this Times article .

The best part of falling for a show is discovering that the actors in it are just as shamelessly fannish as you are.

It’s your daily Watchmen legal battle update – and, as has become customary about this story, forget what we told you yesterday , because the situation has changed… again. After asking Judge Gary Feess to issue an early ruling on Friday about whether or not Fox had the right to block them from releasing Zack Snyder’s adaptation of the 1980s classic comic, Warner Bros.

Neil Gaiman has been showing off a couple more pieces of art from his upcoming Batman story, “Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader,” giving another hint as to what Batman we can expect to meet. The images, from Gaiman’s two-part Bat-story celebrating the history of the character in the wake of the recent Batman RIP storyline, show a more classical side to the caped crusader – arresting Catwoman (in her 1950s costume, interestingly enough) amid moonlit gazes into each others’ eyes, and talking a panicking Riddler down instead of just punching him. Apparently, Gaiman asked artist Andy Kubert to reference various popular artists from Batman’s history in this story, and so these images may be a shout-out to the more mellow Batman of the ’50s through ’70s than a glimpse of Dark Knights to come

This amazing trailer for early-1980s flick Yor, the Hunter from the Future has everything you need to see from a movie that fearlessly combines dino action, fur outfits, and lasers. An Italian flick filmed in Turkey, Yor tells the confused story of a brave guy with a really awesome medallion on his hairy chest.

Thighs up, Chun-Li — you’re totally going to kick everyone’s ass because this is your movie. The new English-language trailer proves this Street Fighter movie is all about girl power. So dry your eyes, Chun-Li! I’m really pretty creeped out with Neal McDonough playing the bad guy, especially when he makes Kristin Kreuk cry
