Although there are significant differences, this volume is essentially a repackaging of the first two volumes of "Battlestar Galactica: The Official Companion to the first two seasons. There is nothing in Battlestar Galactica: Downloaded suggest it is the first of two volumes, but I think it is reasonable to assume that it has a second volume to three and four seasons and two movies razor and the plan is. The text of the new book is not 100% identical to the first two. The various parties should be rewritten and other parties simply adapted. But, overall, the contents of the first two books and the new ones are essentially the same. The difference? The new book is much more attractive and many new photos and illustrations.
So, if this option if you already have the first two books? I guess it depends. I am happy that I have. It is about the same book, but it is much more interesting. It is also much larger than the original series. The price is quite a bargain, much less than the cost of the first two books. If you do not have the original official companion, then I recommend in any case, the last of these.
I noticed that the content is essentially the same. They begin with a general explanation of how the TV series has been designed and voice, and how the production has started. Much of the book consists of an episode followed briefing notes in the margin on one or another aspect of the show. The book ends with a summary of many of the main characters in the series.
This official companion is focused on the Season 1 and 2 of the popular series, and taking a thorough look at the 3-hour mini-series that started it all.
The first thing you notice when you get your hands on this book, how beautiful it is! Really. I wanted to be handled with care to avoid in March its beauty. Thick glossy paper, color images, red Cylon pulse that passes through the top of pages, this book is brilliant as a centurion soldier!
Downloaded begins with a section called battle plan, what changes have been made from the original show, speaks and explains why things like the choice of casting and character names. There are so many gems of information in this section – like how they have chosen wisely (), add the NCO of the main characters to represent different aspects of life and character interactions.
Much of the book consists of Season 1 pm-2 pm Episode Guides, which far outweigh the episode guides I found on the Internet. Each episode will be 2 pages, including a description of the sequence, notes and thoughts of writers of the episode, and an overview of actors featured in the sequel. And a beautiful full-page, color photo accompanying information for each episode!
Among the episode guides is between a multitude of information, with features such as character profiles, visual effects is, Costume Design, production design and music for "Battlestar Galactica". One feature I particularly like the mini-series to another – an in-depth look at how the show has grown from a mini-series success on the new "Battlestar Galactica" series. The section on the mini-series is full of interesting information and profiles of many characters. . . Did you know that Jamie Bamber, a fan of the original series was that? Or that Katee Sackhoff has found "exhausting, but fun, emotional distress Kara to play?
Even with all the information that is excellent and so many amazing pictures, I must say that this is my absolute favorite aspect of downloads for the "Extra" sidebars. Almost every page of the book is a companion box, or deposit, which in some little known tidbit of inside information. Geek goodness of every page!
With loads of information, abundance and distribution of the commentary crew and amazing collection of beautiful pictures, I can not imagine a fan of "Battlestar Galactica" will be "disappointed" Battlestar Galactica – available download.
