*snicker* ‘the new nacelles and saucer section are hideous’ – spot on with that one. Looks like a Constitution class jumped a Galaxy class while an Intrepid watched ‘The Enterprise built in Iowa’ one of canon’s most sacred rules was that the Intrepid was the only design able to land – the Constitution managing to stay together in Earth’s gravity and then the ascent into space? *snickers and nods in agreement*And of course… a 20 year old given the flagship of the fleet … right

Yeah, the new movie was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Though TNG certainly does not deserve the same scorn.

Oh don’t even get me started! That was spot on!It’s so true it’s not even funny, it’s sad!!Nemesis was the lasp gasp and this movie was the flatline!Star trek enterprise in a mirror darkly was closer than this garbage!!!!

Dude calm down I was just joking since this movie was joking about TNG.Jean luc picard is a captain. He isnt’ going to go around shooting people just b/c he can. He is a diplmoat however with that said he would blow someone to bits without a second thought. Seeing that basically kirk and the rest of their gang would probaly be kicked out of starfleet in Picard’s time.

Why can’t all Trek fans get along? Becuse you do not know what you are talking about. When you come to the table with rational concepts, we’ll discuss Trek.

Dude I was making a joke as the video was making jokes about TNG. Trust me I know why star trek TOS easily could have went 7 seasons in today’s world. I know obviously TNG ship would beat the TOS b/c it’s a century more advance ship.

Every Trek “era”? There are only 3. TOS, TNG/DS9/VOY and ENT. Each series depicted the events of our own time. The Benny Russel episode you refer to is. “Far Beyond The Stars”. It was not the director that wanted Benny’s story omitted, it was the publisher of the magazine. I realize that that is trivial nonsense. However, how can you fully understand Trek by making such mistakes?

Dr. King asked Nichelle to stay with Trek after she wanted to leave for lack of character development. He did not “save” Trek.
