lol, I don’t think computers today could process data that quickly. But here we see a Mac from 1986 accept Scotty’s data with lightning speed. And Scotty isn’t used to using keyboards!!

yes he could’ve but consider the security risk. Remember when one of Dr Nichol’s employee’s walked in and Nichols shouted, “Not Now Madeline!!” Suppose Nichols were to leave that paper lying around and somebody were to get a hold of it? Heck! It’s no different then writing a password or a locker combination on a piece of paper. To leave that kind of information on a piece of paper would be disastrous.
