I could watch this a Million times and never get tired of it. It shows a hope that one day, the Human race will get its shit together and make something of itself. Bravo, and Thanx for putting this video on!!!
And one of the most needlessly drawn out and overplayed sequences ever put to film….
I like The Original Series, The Next Generation, and Voyager, and this movie is underrated!
30 years later, this is still the best looking starship ever put to film.
I agree. The Original Enterprise refited is the best of all..in and out star trek
@SpockBorg5 Thank you for boldly going there! Next Generation was a monumental disappointment! The ship looked like the robot Uni-blab from “the Jetsons” and the bridge crew was an embarrassment! I couldn’t even watch it all because most of the episodes were just so many degrees of stupid it would make one’s head spin!
Are you joking? The series expanded and upped the bar on everything that is important in star trek. Not to mention Patrick Stewart is simply a better actor than William Shatner.
if you watched the 1st. 3 seasons carefully you can tell that the series was rushed to airing. the series did not get it’s act together until the 4th season. ds9 was a better spinoff. shoot’ voyager was more entertaining.as for who was better captain. granted stewart is a good actor, but picard was a crappy character. kirk was more entertaining and shatner played that part well. come on picard was suppose to be french, and he had a thick english accent. stewart didnot even try to do one.
Such a beautiful scene…………on so many different levels.
