A super Star Trek fan plays the theme song on a Theremin. Yes, he’s doing it live! The Theremin became popular when the Beach Boys used it in the song Good Vibrations. A little fun fact for ya!

Perfect!
@carrturner322 what is your mom’s name
That Termin is a wild instrument. Good job!
Pretty sure the theremin became popular after it was used in the theme music for The Day The Earth Stood Still-1951.
I don’t want to fight but I want to comment @asre2001.When I saw Star Trek in the 1970’s…I had to touch every door I went through ’cause there weren’t sliding doors that opened when I stepped in front of them.I needed coins to use a Pay-Phone if I wasn’t home ’cause noone carried communicators (cell phones) on them that flipped open.I needed my hand to hold a phone ’cause there was nothing I could put in my ear (Bluetooth) to hear/talk to someone.Star Trek is just Fiction?
This has to be the best video on YouTube. Long live Star Trek. And long live the theremin!
And the land before time had dinosaurs. Guess thats a realistic science-based movie.
The idea behind all science fiction is science. Henceforth it is called science fiction. The fact that it is not real science is why it is called fiction. Do you understand now or do I have to argue with your retarded asre some more.
HAHA! soo funnay your soo smart durr durr. NO. Science fiction is just that, FICTION. Sure star trek can have some possibilities of the future but that doesnt mean it will become reality. I can name any science fiction story any call it true but it just simply isnt until it is proven. This is all fantasy until proven true. Dont get me wrong, i hop that we get transporters and warp drives, but it just isnt real until proven.
I never said it would become a reality, I was merely stating that most although not all science fiction, starts with a scientific concept and a fantasy based around it. I too would love to see transporters and warp drives, but most of all a holodeck. Do we really have to keep arguing about all this? I can keep going if you want.
